It takes Lloyd grabbing the next section of his hair, along for the sensation of the unburdened weightlessness of shorter hair for Zelos to pause a second and come to his senses. It's... a little startling how easily they've settled into some sort of banter. Now just as nervous as he is giddy, Zelos starts bouncing his leg as he starts doing the mental gymnastics needed to socialize--analyzing Lloyd's words, mannerisms, the way he's led the conversation. Nevermind that he didn't use to have to do this with Lloyd before, but. Whatever.
For now, Zelos settles for something noncommittal. "All the grace and poise of a cat are fitting, yes. Thanks for noticing!"
Every time Lloyd cuts another section of hair, Zelos exhales slowly. Well... this isn't so bad, sensation wise. It's fine, really. The only thing that's worrying him is how it'll all look in the end, but, well, they don't really have any way to check that until they get to town. He'll just have to wait it out.
