The call's ended before Kratos can reply. Kratos curses under his breath and hopes that was just Zelos being a bitch, and not anything more drastic. He swallows down his worry for a second time-- he has no right to be worrying this much about Zelos-- and moves as efficiently as he can.
(It takes him longer to leave the comet than it does to fly to Zelos' position.)
He finds Zelos huddled up against a tree. Zelos is awake, which is a good sign, but the amount of blood Zelos has lost sure as hell is not. The stench of blood in the air gets caught in Kratos' throat, and he hastily turns off his sense of smell before memories of war that thousands of years haven't quite dulled make him vomit.
He drops to his knees beside Tethe'alla's Chosen, manuevering Zelos into a better position to assess the wound before he acts. This is likely going to need more than a simple First Aid.
Maybe he shouldn't, but, the irony of this situation isn't exactly lost on Kratos, so:
"And why, exactly, did you ask me for help?" he asks. "Doesn't Raine know how to heal?"
